To celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Ton Duc Thang University (September 24, 1997 - September 24, 2019), the Faculty of Sports Science cooperates with universities and domestic and foreign agencies in the field of sports. The sports sector organizes an international conference on Sports Science with the following contents:

The International Conference on Sport Science 2019 (ICSS 2019).

1. Purpose of the conference

ICSS Conference 2019 is a forum for scientists to present and share research results in the fields of sports business management, sports coaching, physical education, sports biomedicine, and psychology. sports etc. Through lectures by leading scientists of the world, the conference will provide attendees with the latest knowledge in the field of sports science and the importance of sport to the world. society.
The conference is a place to connect, exchange and exchange experiences between scientists around the world. Besides, the conference also promotes and encourages scientists, researchers, experts, managers, lecturers, coaches, athletes and students who are active in the field of sport of Vietnam. Vietnam has the opportunity to approach and raise the level of scientific research with the world.
Moreover, the important knowledge and shared experiences gained from the workshop are not only for the benefit of individuals and units, but also for the whole country when the knowledge and experience Valuables from the workshop were transmitted and shared by the participants or applied to scientific research in their own countries.

4.2 Expected form of publication

All papers will be reviewed by a scientific panel, and qualified papers will be published in the conference proceedings, with publication index (ISBN). After that, the scientific committee of the conference will select 20 best papers and send them to the journal Pertanika - Malaysia (located in the database of Scopus) to publish a special issue.

The International Conference on Sport Management (ICSM 2017)

On the morning of 14th September 2017, Ton Duc Thang University solemnly opened the International Conference on Sport Management (ICSM 2017). The conference took place on 14th and 15th of September 2017 with the participation of many scientists, experts and doctoral students from many different countries and territories such as England, India, Taiwan, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, China and Vietnam. Especially, the conference was attended by professors and experts in sport management in the world such as: Assoc. Prof. Geoff Dickson from Auckland University of Technology [New Zealand], Assoc. Prof. Nilmanee Sriboon from Thammasart University, Prof. Sombat Kanjanakrit from Chulalongkorn University [Thailand].

With the theme "The role of sport management in the development of the global sports industry," ICSM 2017 is a forum for scientists, researchers, experts, managers, lecturers and trainers to exchange their scientific research and share their experiences in the field of sports management and other related fields such as sports event management, sports facility management, business management, sports marketing and sponsoring, tourism and leisure sports and physical education, sports physiology, nutrition, sports psychology as well as health sciences

All research is reviewed and edited by scientists, international experts in sports management and related fields; printed in the Proceedings of ICSM2017, publication index ISBN 978-604-85-0621-6 published by the Gymnastics and Sports Publishing House.

With the goal of becoming a research university, ICSM 2017 is an essential event that needs organizing by the Faculty of Sport Science to promote international cooperation in education and science-technology of the whole school following international standards.
