Professor from Taiwan teaches Sports Marketing to FSS students
On the afternoon of July 15, 2024, at Hall 10F of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the Faculty of Sports Science (FSS) successfully organized a Workshop with the theme "Sports Marketing in the current context" presented by Professor Dr. Huang, Yen Hsiang, Head of the Department of Sports Industry at National Taiwan University of Sport (NTUS). The event attracted the enthusiastic participation of many lecturers and nearly 100 students, wishing to learn and update new knowledge about sports marketing.
Professor Dr. Huang, Yen Hsiang, a leading expert in the field of sports marketing, with extensive practical and management experience and enthusiasm for teaching, analyzed the importance of using big data in marketing and proposed innovative approaches to improve marketing effectiveness in the sports industry. Through practical examples, vivid real-life situations, questions, and discussions in the Workshop not only clarified marketing in the modern context but also aroused the passion and interest in learning of the students. The Workshop was a great success, leaving many deep impressions and hopes for future academic events at TDTU.
During the visit and work with FSS from July 12, 2024, to July 22, 2024, in addition to sharing the workshop, Professor Huang also discussed a number of future cooperation issues with the Faculty of Sports Industry (NTUS) such as co-organizing the International Conference on Sports Science - ICSS2025, exchanging students and lecturers, developing dual degree programs, granting full scholarships to students, organizing international sports competitions, international cultural weeks. From these activities, it contribute to promoting the internationalization of FSS in the future.
